Career Summary

I have been fortunate to have worked for some excellent companies as well as gaining the experience of working for myself. Here’s a run down of my career history:

03/10-Present Leeds Indie Radio as Station Manager
Manage the day to day running of the station including A&R, marketing and website development.
07/09-12/09 Click 4 Limited as Web Development Manager
Managed a small team of developers and acting as technical lead, creating new functionality and systems for all of the e-commerce sites within the various brands and ensuring that the solutions were robust, agile and scaleable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of the Web Development team and external contractors.
  • Development of new sites, reporting tools, functionality and back office integration.
  • Maintenance and configuration of all linux servers.
  • Implementation of all SEO strategies.

Interests

I am extremely focussed on my work, however in my spare time I enjoy travelling, walking, socialising, music (playing, listening, writing and going to gigs), world cinema and extreme sports. I also have a keen interest in photography, modern art, graphic design and web design. I believe it is important to maintain a healthy work – life balance.
